Using Virtual Reality for Parkinson Rehab

VR offers flexibility for designing rehabilitation tasks in medical centres with limited resources. The role of context in motor performance in persons with Parkinson Disease (PD) suggests value in exploring the use of VR in this population to see if tactic, auditory, visual and haptic feedback can help improve Parkinson patients. This study is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Patel from CSTAR (Canadian Surgical Technologies & Advanced Robotics).
